S350 2004 with No navigation installed
Hi there, any body has experience if the car that originally came with no navigation can be modified to have this navigations , I have 2 buttons on the Command APS one for the Navi and the other for Maps, once I press it says Navigation device unavailable !
so is all what I need to install the device or I have to check also the antenna and the GPS cable !!!

did you check to see if you have the NAv drive in the trunk?
perhaps its because you do not have a DVD loaded. Thats why it says unavailable?

He has to be from another county because here in USA the S350 came out in 2006. his is a 2004 , and I've seeing a few S350 around here and they all had NAVIGATION .

Hi , this car in Saudi Arabia , what I meant is that do all W220 accept the navigation if it is not originally installed in the car does the Command compatible to operate the navigation as long as the two buttons are there (Navi & Maps)?

I would think so , because we have installed lots of Nav system on ML320 that wasn't equipped with Nav when new

DAIMLER CHRYSLER
A220 690 1353/9C24
KORA LI CD DVD FDS
YAP28474/02 Q2
so what do you think ?
Should this label be the one that is placed on the DVD drive and the previous owner took it out before selling !!!

Anybody knows how many cables (connectors) are there for the Navigation DVD drive and how many for the CD chagner, I found 3 cables with connectors laid there ( 1 blue and 2 black )

No Navigation
You probably have the Navigation unit in the dash command unit. I also had a missing navigation command unit in the trunk. (2003 S350)
The dealer brought out another dash command unit the same as mine and identified a gyro symbol on the side. Sure enough once he inserted the right command nav CD , bingo it was away.
