HELP! Car vibrating and thumping noise from front left side
I was driving 80km/h then all of a sudden this vibration noise started coming sounded like a flat tire so I slowed down it was still happening pulled over all the tires looked fine. Got back in started to drive off... steering started to shake and thumping noise started to come even at 20km/h with vibrations from front left side of the car. Called a flat bed got the car home safe now, any help? Really need the car tomorrow

never been replaced the car has 115,000kms on it right now. What about the control arms do you think those two things caused this to happen?

It's possible mine has an appoint for the first week of January the MB Roadside guy showed me before I replaced my Lowenharts. The new joints are i think 65 per side but its not a DIY i don't think.

Gondon obviously doesn't have a W220 because no intelligent person would say that. Check the bushings its a possibility they're prone to failure. Everyone here I know has been through them now its my turn I guess.

sounds like transfer case man.I've seeing it happen !!!! hope not good luck do you hear any noise at all while you driving?

Car is at LA repair right now. Good news is that they gave me a call and said it's nothing serious so I'm happy the bill will be under $80 that's what they said. I'm getting the car back soon within the hour...

Extremely rusted snapped bolt or something like that in the lower suspension area around the ball joints or some bushing? Didn't really see they replaced it and did the work quick I guess this is what you get when you live in Canada and the previous owner barely drove the car it just sat outside while the snow piled up on it for two years.
They also checked the control arms both sides and ball joints they are fine on my car so I'm really happy now.

Presuming the shop are right it is good to know nasty sounding crap like this isn't always expensive
