New England + Summer Tires + RWD + HP = No Good
Went up to Rhode Island on Tuesday for work, got snowed in over the weekend and could not get the car out of the driveway yesterday.
Only way I got it out today was with 6 buckets of boiling water and melting everything around the tires...

Same here man. We got about 8in in my area and last night my luck finally ran out and I got stuck; parked on compacted snow and ice, looked just like your driveway. The thing would not move and I have all seasons; I can't even imagine how summer tires would be.
I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on snow tires for my stock wheels. For the summer, new wheels and summer tires. Now that's truly all season; and an excuse to buy some rims of course

I heard that the snow tires like the blizzaks are night and day difference due to their compound and tread design. You may want to look into a cheap tire/wheel combo from somewhere like tire rack or tires.com if you intend to drive your 600 in the snow. Sorry I didn't get a chance to talk to you at MIR....you guys arrived late.

looks like fun were you actually able to drive around with that setup?...i wouldnt dare even try to take the s outta the garage...plus it still has the 20's on....im driving my winter beater for snow days...08 chevy cobalt
