The one in your picture looks cool!
Try checking here. Looks good to me, but not sure if available in the U.S.

I like the one in your picture, especially the double fog lights. Pretty cool

Looks good compare with your stock none sport bumper , but the 03-06 sport bumper is by far best looking front bumper on the W220 , and i understand is a lot of work . so go for it. , but please compare prices first between the two !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The one pictured gives the car a too-heavy look in front. Sport bumper would be better.

Looks like it would scrub the ground with your car lowered the way it is. It does look too big to be on an S Class.

2 damn many + a 02 S-500
just curious as to why there are lower grills only on one side brake cooling maybe? looks like the brabus replica to me im new here and i have a 02 s500 i traded in my 745 li for it a few weeks ago and three days after i got it the front bumper was off and i was on the prowl in the last 72hrs i have looked at every front bumper you can name (brabus, lorinser, wald, etc) and imho the 03-06 amg is the most stunning front end on the w220 and would look extra aggressive on yours because of the nice stance i ended up ordering the 03-06 amg for my 02 i work at a body shop here in atlanta,ga and there is some custom fabicators that i work with that are 22yrs plus in bus. so we are going to atempt to fit it with out changing the hood and grill if you hold them side by side its only a few mm off under the head lights and where the grill meets the bumper so this is the most critical part that needs to be trimmed because the 00-02 hood wraps completly around the grill i have a really bad case of ocd especially when it come to my vehicles so if it looks wrong or off in the slightest i will just order a 03 and up hood and grill and and a new amg bumper i will post some before during and after pics sorry for the long story but my point is if you have a REALLY good body shop in your area it can be done for alot less than buying a new hood and grill and really look nice

Good looking bumper on the vehicle in the picture, not sure if I would go with this type on your S., I concur with Skylaw comments.

A good body shop should be able to make it fit pretty easily , its just a matter of finding someone who will do decent work at a decent price.

I like the brabus style better anyway.

The body shop will have to shave down and fabricate where the grill meets the bumper. The 02 grill is lower then the 03. I had the opposite problem because I was putting and 02 bumper on my 03 W220 so I had a gap and had to build up the bumper. Here are some pics of the fabrication.

thanks should be a piece of cake for a custom body shop to do then, will my 00 bumper moldings fit on the 03 bumper?

Hey Guys ! I know this is an old topic but I have an 2002 s class which bumper need replacement. So please tell me if i do this right.

I will get the 2003 amg sport bumper becasue it's the coolest. Then I will have the shop to cut the lower part of my 02 hood so it looks open in the bottom at the grill-side as the 03 - 06's hood. Then buy the 03 grill and fit it to the newly cut 02 hood.

So.. do you guys think this will work. Will the 03 grills snaps perfectly to the newly cut 02 hood area, any dimensional issue with the fitment, what you guys think?

You don't touch the hood, cut or add material to the bumper as necessary

guys, aside from the obvious difference of where the hood meets the upper cover, is there really much difference between the 00-02 amg look and the 03-06? I'm buying the full package for my 2000 and don't want to have to play around with all the modification butchery by the grille and stuff, getting the 00-02 parts I can just slap them on with no fuss. I've been looking at plenty of pictures online but don't really see all that much difference (aside from the grille area obviously) between the early and later style... rockers look exactly the same, rear bumper too, front I think is the same although maybe the 2 side bulges are a little more pronounced post facelift? appreciate any input

I have a 01 S500 and did the 03 amg facelift. Hood can be cut to fit the 03 bumper and factory 03 grille will fit 00-02 hood after hood is cut down...
