my advice would be to try and sell the actual car not the tv's. pictures where you can actually see the car and more info about the car would be good start. but then again there is probably someone dumb enough to just see the tvs and shiny rims and buy it. good luck with the sale.

 

So I've been looking at the boards for quite a while now and notice that some people are so quick to belittle people. This guy just wants to sell his car if you're not interested move on. Don't post reality hits in KBB.com. This gentelmans car is nice and he will probably get his price from someone.

 

Well that's the point. He wants to sell his car, but by overpricing by almost 50% he probably won't.

The YouTube video just showed lots of it driving about at slow speed in the dark, and the interior, also in the dark. Not exactly the best selling strategy if you're already overpricing the vehicle. And no, putting some shiny dustbin lids where the wheels would be, and installing half of BestBuy in the back doesn't make up the $5500 difference.

 

Certain things affect price especially custom vehicles some people want to drive away fixed up and some people want to do it themselves. If his car is worth 12k stock and he sells for 16.5k with all his upgrades that's his business. Leave the dude alone.

 

Then why come to a MB board? People on here are knowledgable. If you search you will find that mods are owner specific and in almost all cases delete from the value of the car.

The other thing I question is that this member and you joined MBWorld on the same day; and here you are already defending him.

I don't know this dude nor am I defending him. Cars are a matter of preference I think this guy should've just put his car on Craigslist or AutoTrader instead of a board where everyone already owns a W220 thats's my .02. And I agree on the model I don't even think the rims are the same on that pic.

Instead of talking about my "rims being to big" or insinuating that the car is "ghetto" with too many tvs. LOL. guess what??? It's a two way street...in the same way that if you think that everyone who sees your car is wowed by it (in a positive way) then you're wrong.
