S-Class (W220) 1999-2006: S 320 CDI, S 320, S430, S 500, S 600

JUST INSTALLED NEW 275/30/20 Yokohama S. Drive Tires, and now i get rubbing?????

my rear wheels also had the wrong offset so i had to run a small spacer to clear the caliper...i ran 275/30 on the rear fine until i lowered it...mind you my rear rim is only 9" and front is 8.5"....im currently running 245/35/20 all around...so if your running a 10" wide wheels with the 255 i think it will look fine...

heres the 245/35 all around




and heres the 245/30 rear...out of proportion compared to the front imo..also notice the stretch




and the 275/30

thanks for pics....cant find any yokohama 255/35/20 tires......what do i need to cut so i can keep 275 and it wont rub, other them changing to toyo t1r's...i heard the trick is to cut a plastic piece.

i cut and trimmed everything in my wheel well...fenders rolled and all..still rubbed with the 275...my tire was rubbing the top of the wheel well on the pass. side only..there was nothing really i could do..so i just swapped to the smaller tire...in your case it might be that little metal piece that everyone talks about..just search it up..

lil metal piece near bumper and rear fender was cut this morning...no more rubbing!!!20 bucks my buddy charged me 2 do it...i gave him a 20 dollar tip lol
