10.5 rear wheels. The tire is correct. if the offset was correct there would be no rubbing no matter hpw low you went. bottom line.

Agreed if the off set is correct it wouldn't be no rubbing so forget rolling your fender and get new rims

The offset is wrong.
The correct offset for the W220 is ET 44 (front and rear). ET 35 is way too much. I know because I have bought wheels with ET 33 (rear) and 30 (front) and the rear ones rub quite often - I have to drive the car raised the whole time .
I have ordered a new set of wheels with the correct offset this time and that should solve the problem.

BTW, my rear tire size is 275/30/19x8.5 ...

good luck finding that..

46 or better for 10.5 wheels, NO Shims, and you can't slam OR you MUST modify your arches. ( Cut the plastic peice, or ROll. ).

I dont get it 10.5 wheels arenothing but trouble for these cars and there is NO gain between the 10.5 and 9.5. wheel.Why does so many people try this setup for everyday??

just use what ever tire you had before. Toyo, Nitto, and many cheap noisy brands are very round and perfect for your situation. but the bottom line here is your rims NOT anything else.

BTW. 10mm diff between your front and rear? that must look lovely from the side. And aslo handle weird.

It should fit but call superbuytire.com to make sure what will and will not fit , they can probably recommend you a tire that will not rub too.

ok so toyo t1r are cheap tires....what are good tires? i mean the toyos are 300 a piece???but my rear rims are not 10.5 they are 20x10

can someone show me a pic of the plastic piece he is talking about that he wants me to cut? and yes my car is slammed...wheels tuck... if i have it in raised position no rubbing.

sorry for the misunderstanding.. I meant you can use Toyo,Nitto, Or cheaper tires.. Toyo and Nitto are not really cheap, in either price nor quality. Wanli's are in price and quality for example.

10" wheels are hard to make work on these cars... you MUST have at least 46 or better offset especially if its slammed. Rounder tires give you a little bit of extra clearance. Toyo's and Nitto's are rounder. so if you are close, you can at times use these types of tires and be okay.

My statement again is that there is not any gain in using a 10" or 10.5" or larger compared to a 9.5" tire. Especially if you want to slam the car. it's pointless when you can just use a 9.5 / 8.5 staggered setup.

I had the same problem I roll the fender and it still rub with 4 people in it. The only way To fix the problem is to strech 255/35/20 on it and no more rubbing and it still slam

Just too Let you guys know.. S-CLASS on most aftermarket wheels uses 35+ offset..

35+ offset will be flush on the fenders ( not sticking out or in)

If you use 44 or 45 it will stick in the Fenders. (like some factory wheels)

25+ offset will stick out the fenders

255 = width
35 = sidewall height
20 = diameter size.

a 35 will always be taller than a 30 , but you will be less wide so you might be ok.

I don't think it should rub but I'd go with a 30 to be safe.

255/30 on a 10" wide rim will be SOOOOOOOO stretched it will look stupid...i ran a 245/30 on the 9" wide rim and the stretch looked gross...esp if your running a 245/35 up front it will look very out of proportion...i say try the 255/35/20...itll still be stretched but it wont be that bad..i HIGHLY doubt youll rub with that..
