W215 CL wheels on my S500

A friend had a fresh set of 18inch W215 CL wheels and tires sitting around.
I got them and put them on my 04 S500.
Very pleased with the clean "factory" look, offset, and handling.
The offset is perfect. No rubbing and almost flush with the fender.
Before I usually drove in Sport 1 suspension setting now I find comfort is perfect for usual family driving.
What do you think?
Pic 1 is after, pic 2 is before.

Don't love the rivets, but I love the stock wheels even less, so good move

Thanks,
I actually like the "rivets". These are factory MB wheels and they give the wheels a little more sporty look.
I feel the wheels take the "old man's car" look away from the car.
It is hard to find a nice wheel that suits the car and retains that clean look.

I have always admired your wheels OliverK. What are they?

yeah, I have rivets on my mustang and don't like them on there, so it might just transfer.

I really like the rim style you used, I just like the non-rivet version better. Either way, an upgrade over stock to be sure.

I have the standard sport package rims. They are an AMG product, but I'm not sure of the style or number.

Really.
Maybe they are not so common in Japan.

sweet!

I do like this color.
AMG has a smokey pewter color like this but a little darker.
Does anyone know the color's name?

sorry if it is off the topic

That color

I was watching American Chopper.
The guys were building a bike for AMG and were visiting for "inspiration". I'm not sure if it were in Germany or in the USA.
There was a smokey gray or pewter SL or SLK pictured as they were walking around. It was more a gray than a black.
It was SO nice. The nicest colored MB I have ever seen.
I have, since then, wanted to know what color it was.
