Just take a look at your brakes. If you see wires coming out of the center of the pad area, you need a sensor. count up how many, and go from there.

You need 3, and its not hard at all to change yourself. You will of course need a pin tap, to take the pins out that hold the brakes in. You would be surprised how easy it is. You don't even need to take the caliper off like most cars.

for future thread searchers, that only applied to RWD cars.

The 4matic brake system is different and requires caliper removal.

Is there a place you can buy the rubber trimming on the side mirrors? How do you replace that?

Brake replacement

What about a 2006 w203, does it have SBC brakes or can I do them myself? Also, in looking at my front brakes, I noticed that only the passenger side pads have a sensor on them, not the drivers side, is this normal?

No SBC on the 203.

yes, your 1 sided sensor is fine.
