They were dp31487c just like yours
, and now I have 41487 yellow stuff and they do work when cold as well as the reds didThis is good to know, I can stop on a dime and give you a nickel change. Maybe they gave you the wrong pads, mine fit right in the caliper although they go deeper toward the hub of the rotor which is fine. I don't know why they made them so much deeper than stock, maybe for better stopping power.

It is VERY nice to hear that the yellows work well on the street. I have never tried them in any car, but have used race pads on my 91 stang in the SCCA with horriable issues for street use, aka they NEVER would get hot enough to work safely. Its good to know that EBC is really not a track only pad. THANKS

I always have used zinc coated Brembo rotors and OE pads on my 540s, M5, X5 and will need pads/rotors on the S500. There's a distributor here in Dallas called Sportbrakes and they used to (not sure now) sell on eBay. Very nice bunch of guys and I would highly recommend them.
