Some pics of my S55 project..






First 3 pics is what it looked like when I bought it..The original Lorinser roof wing is now removed and for sale...



Love the W220 interiour..



Fully loaded with mostly all you could get in 2000.



Came with the suede roof and wood handles.



Added some custom made floor mats.



LOVE the stiched leather package on all the panels.



AMG....



It also was equipped with remote for the heater so I can turn it on from my house..



Also was equipped with remote and MB original screen in back.



Heated and adjustible seats in rear..



I Replaced the facelift clearglas headlights with new ones that has auto leveling for the HIDs. Also looks new and fresh. 8000K Xenons.



Did the same with the old facelift taillights..New fresh shiny ones.



The old S55 AMG front to be replaced with the faclift S55 front.



It also was equipped with Original lit AMG sills.



Old uggly Comand soon to be replaced...



Old AC panel soon to be replaced...



So I added the new 16 x 9 Comand..Love it..

And the new AC panel.



Added a new nice shiftknob in wood and chrome with AMG logo.



Added tis one..Think it is fun since AMG never produced these emblems.
Only original on the 6.3 AMG cars.



This is what the winter did to the old emblems...




So I replaced them all...



Including the hood star..Some difference ha?




I found a Original AMG car cover for it..RARE!!!



Got the new nice looking key for it..



Had to have a new grill as you can see..Before and after pics..



Added a AMG Sport wheel.



Found these Original MB make up mirrors in real wood..Matching the handles really well..



The new S55 facelift front arrives..



And here it is all in place inc twin foglights like on the new AMGs
and the new 20" wheels..



I will swap these wheels for the next season..





A night pic...They are not that blue in real life..



Here is the real color of the lights.



Also adde the clear glas sidemarkers since we dont have them over
here it makes th car a bit different..


So what you think ? ? If I only could fit that Comand NTG 2.5 as well and I would be very happy...

NICE! Love the ///AMG Logo in the bumper grills. Did you swap the comand out to the newer version yourself?

very nice!! im a little skeptical about the fog lights, but im definitely not feeling the amg logo on the lower mesh of the front bumper...looks cheesy to me..other than that, the car looks amazing and you did a nice job cleaning it up!

ps. i like how you got the new amg bumper and just forcefully closed the older pre-facelift hood on it haha, doesn't look that bad lol

Thanx all...The AMG logo came out a bit to bright so I have smoked it a bit and is today much more descrete..

I modified the old hood a bit so it fits fine and it looks really OK..But a new hood and grill is planed for the next season..

Fogs is from Rieger...Seen them on US Ebay as well..The lower AMG insert I had a car painter do the logo for me..

I would not say easy..You have to remove the bumper and manufacture a bracket to install them on..

Why dont you put a Xenon/White light into your sidemarker instead of the orange?

what kind of fog lights are those ? any modification needed to make it fit ? and where did you get those if u dont mind im asking ?

Did you get any malfunction error codes on the cluster about replacing the front small bulbs inside the headlight to white?

No..It is the same bulbs like before but with a white glow instead..
