I'm not 100% sure we are talking about the same module because it's been a while, However,, I did order a module that supposed to hook into the CanBus and allow the same thing. Unfortunately the units DO NOT work with the 2004 thru 2006 S Class due to the absence of video circuitry on the US comand units. I returned the unit and got a refund. The company was supposed to change their listing to reflect the incompatibility but I guess they never did.

Could you post the link for verification though?

I think you just wasted your money. That unit may actually work on the w221 system not sure about that either. but give it a try anywayz...

better to search next time you'll get an answer on this quickly.

At least we got and mp3 dvd that works...

HEy joe.. I just downloaded the installation manual and compared it to some pic I took of my comman when I disected it a while ago,
It looks like the interface they supply repaces the conection inside the Comand unit so this thing may actually work!!!

I have some clearer pics of the inside of the comand that shows the connections if you want them.

My only concern with this, it switching.. I'm not sure how this works I gues if it's autosensing in series it would be no problem. I thoght about this because the unit they show in their instructions looks like a Euro model.

CORRECTION:

I just noticed it comes with a built in auto-switcher... Looks like they covered the bases... I don;t see where you send the audio to though. Hmmm
