Here's a repost from ls1.com:Q: What do you do for a living?
A: I run software development organizations
Q: Can I join your family?
A: Sorry, my son vetoed that idea; he doesn't want competition for the cars...
Q: Why does your wife put up with your crazy car purchases?
A: Because she loves me, and anyway she's not exactly deprived.
My first post, and I've already gotten the FAQ question

Just picked this up friday (my first MB, actually) and saw the other thread about how the sport package appears. Here's a single pic; I'll grab some better ones once it stops raining out here

and a fast viper (mine) - note front-mount intercooler

Options on the S600 are minimal -- it comes with pretty much everything on the S600. I got the sport package (wheels, bodywork), tire pressure monitoring & keyless go; I passed on the $3000 cruise control and the $10,000 "designo" packages. It's a lease (my first ever -- interest rates are too low to pass up), and you can go calculate the sticker yourself if you want :p
Oh, it's pretty slow
835 RWHP (SAE) on boost alone, 996 RWHP with a little shot of N2O. Best 1/4 run was 10.11 @ 152 mph.

Very well...My yellow Viper was modified by Doug Levin Motorsports, and has (among other things) a fully built engine, centrifugal supercharger, front-mount intercooler, secondary fuel system from a race gas fuel cell, and a custom NX nitrous setup. In cool weather it runs about 15 lbs of boost and makes 900 ft/lbs of torque at the wheels... without nitrous.
Here's a few pictures; videos are below the pix:

That is one amazing stable of cars. Are you in the Torrance/PV area? I noticed you got your S600 at MB of South Bay.
Anyways, very nice.
Up north, actually, near Palo Alto. I have family in PV, however. Flew down, had dinner with the family, picked up the S600 at South Bay Benz, and drove it home. All in all, a nice trip

It gets more grins than "1200 HP", and fewer tickets...
