Front of the car too low

I searched the threads but could not find an answer.
The front of my car falls low after I park the car. However it rises up after I put it on gear and start driving. No warning light is on.
Does anyone have any suggestions on why and what to do
Thanks

front to low

I hope this is not your problem, but it sounds like your ABC that raises the vehicle has a leak that is gradually lowering car while it sits idle the pump starts once car is started up and it lifts up, I had same problem just before i had to replace strut, pump/w motor cost $1700, check and see if button on dash that lifts car display constant two little red lights in button. if they are lid their is a leak somewhere. also their is a piece in front driver's side near wheel where you can hear sound of air escaping check all areas around tires for sound of leak once you shut down car that may just be a replacement line that send fluid to strut

Please go to sticky at top and read all about air suspension. If you need parts, go to the sources listed and find a decent independent shop to install them for you. If you wait too long, the pump and valve block will "work too hard" and evenutally give way too.

Best of luck!

I could not find what I am looking for in Sticky's posts. And yes I have ABC not Airmatic. I checked as per la22bay's suggestion and there is no constant two red lights on the button on the dash that lifts the car up. They light up when I press the button and the button in deed functions. Furthermore I could not hear a leaking sound after I shut down the engine (perhaps the leak is to little to hear) and there is no mark of oil leak on the floor either.

So still dont know exactly where the problem is.

It would be helpful if you add the model year of your car and your location to your signature.

what is the year and model of your auto? the button on my car lights up and stays on when pressed. display informs me car is rising then after car rises the button stay illuminated and every time i start car it remains lifted and their on. maybe there might be a programming problem and yours cancel once you shut off car, because once speed exceeds 80mph the ABC automatically cancels. maybe there is a problem in computer, because your car rises and doesn't drop while in motion, does ABC cancel at 80mph? and suspension drops? or does it stay at same level? there is definitely something going on but you may need to have dealer or Mercedes independent mechanic check it. a friend bought a 2002 and he heard a slight sound near front wheel passenger side, it was something minor that was inexpensive to correct. just have it checked even for a small cost, because if it gets worst it will cost big time. these cars have history of failing suspension system in 2000-2003 year i've a lot of themin shops for this problemwith car dropping. hope you make out ok
