if you are in the USA the catalytic converter should be under an extended 10yr warranty, better hurry because depending on production date of your car the warranty may be ending soon

Are they
Rattling like rocks in a can?
Lack of power under load?
Do you have a check engine light indicating Cat faults?
Do you have check engine light related to O2 sensors?
You can have a cat efficient test ran to test them or use a infrared temp gun to compare pre cat and post cat temps.
9 year old car with 100k plus miles it is past due having the o2 sensors replaced.
1 each before the primary cat on each bank and 1 each post cat on each bank.
