What are some good navi systems people here are using other than factory?
I've heard lots of great things for the new Kenwood Excelon, but it's a little more than I want to pay. Almost seems like it's more of a hassle than it's worth to change out the factory system.

I really want more information on this unit here. I know its $1,200 and the wood grain to convert your 00-02 is another couple hundred. I don't quite get why the buttons are illuminated red (they are orange in my car) but no big deal. I'm really just waiting for someone else to get it to see if its legit.

thats a nice navi. but you can get a pioneer for half the price and it can do all that .. but you wont be able use steering wheel buttons

hi need some help , i have a 2000 s 500 w220 its has no amp but orginal stock radio , nav , cd changer thus no sound , navi works cd changer wont eject cd though but main thing is what is the best economically way to go , find a amp or go with the after market that you guys were talkn about with

can a after mkt amp go in with some kind of inexpensive coupler or wiring etc so i can keep cassette, which i do still listen to yes cassetes smile.. nav etc .. or do i do the single din or a dbl din after mkt deal ?? i am in northen cali , if anyone knows someone who can do it right thanks ,, also if i keep stock i need to buy a bose amp or a mb amp . anuone knpw where i can get one r anyone has one for sale thanks

Find an mb/Bose amp on eBay, probably your best bet, going with aftermarket requires an entire rewire of the audio system, which I could do for you but I live in san Diego, if you just want to listen to something while you drive I would just get the amp it's deff cheaper

I got the pioneer x920bt it is a really nice unit. fully touch screen, FAST response to ipod/mp3s, nice navigation, good bluetooth recognition, satellite, plays mpeg videos.
Had to put in a new amp, total was probably around $1200 installed. the x920bt is about $600 now.

thanks for the hit back .. dealing with need issues with this car.. early in morn the shocks wont come all the way up to lift car takes about about 15 mins to be be at the peak.. what you think?

Hello all, this sounds interesting, I have a fully optioned bose 7.1 audio system, TV, etc.. in my S55 komp, 05 model, will this unit work.
Will this affect warranty? Does this unit has 3D nav imaging, does it offer web browsing?

Can it be programmed to come up with the ''MERCEDES BENZ'' logo when you switch unit on, like the oem comand models do?

my pioneer avid d3 had an option to put any logo to come out as soon as you turn it on i had a ford logo since it was on my truck.. others not sure you have to double check before you buy
