Talking Just bought a silver 2000 S500

What an amazing vehicle! Now I have to customize it to my preference. I want to get the 2003 retro fit taillights. Anyone suggest someone to go to? The ones on ebay are overpriced. I want to get a wooden steering wheel in ash and the wood/chrome shift knob. Further more I want the chrome headlight covers, maybe the taillight covers as well? Not sure. If anyone would mind letting me know where I can find these things for the best price I'd be greatly appreciative. I'm gonna finish up so I can go hang out in my S500 again. until next time... ciao.

formymercedes.com has good shifter knobs, exhaust tips, etc.
Good prices and pleasant to deal with.

I already receive the Performance Product catalog, their prices seem a little overpriced. Probably because they have a large overhead. But thank you cranklin, that site looks good so far.

Run a search on the retrofit tail lights. A member was selling the modified tail lights at cost. A lot of folks already purchased theirs and have had no problems with them.

They are the whole assembly. I have seen several sets of the pre-2003 lights for sale on e bay.
I'm still not sure that I like the new lights better.
