Question CF Interior - Yay or Nay

I know we talked about it a long time ago but no one ventured to try it out.

Here's my first attempt... it was somewhat of a pain but I got the hang of it. What do you guys think? Continue mission or abort immediately?

Looks like you did a good job, but I'm not a fan of the CF on these cars. My motorcycles, yes.

The S is a Luxury Sedan, which usualy means wood trim. That being said, i think it came out real good. Bottom line is, if you like it, then do it!

Very true, my only inspiration was the 2011 S65 AMG which comes with a mix of CF in the center console and black piano wood on the dashboard.

You have my vote. I like the look.
I am no traditionalist, though.

My personal opinion would be not cover too much with it, just some accent pieces...

well I think a combination of carbon and wood is even worse.

if you're gonna do it, you gotta go ***** out.

Those things are gross, along with the tail light chrome accents, door handle inserts and other items I classify as the "the eBay Style Package"

My favorite is the S-Class grill with the huge CL-type star in the middle AND the hood ornament.

I can't really agree. An Sclass, first and foremost, (to me) is a luxury car. Luxury cars don't have exposed carbon fiber. I don't really care for piano wood either, since it looks just like shiny black plastic and smudges super easily.

there is a big difference between a grained wood that comes stock and piano wood.

Furthermore, his interior is gray. Gray with carbon fiber and piano wood looks a bit ricey to me, not to mention the variety of colors.

I would say no to cf to a luxury car. if you are going that route atleast use real cf. Don't be cheap!

Why use real cf for something like this that you're simply experimenting with & may want to remove? The man bought an S65...Let's not use the 'C' word
