2000 S500
Windows & Sun Roof Opening
I have looked for the answer and can't find unless i missed it. When unlocking car and holding the unlock button on key all the windows and the sun roof use to all open at once. I tried it the other day and it no longer will work. I tried new batteries in key still nothing , anyone know what it might be. It is a nice option on a very hot Day here in South Florida. Any help would be appreciated...Thanks

you have to reset it. ignition on, ac on auto, then hold the center button on the controller, not the left or right fan adustment. Press and hold the center button for a few. Shoudl work.

Tried it and it did not work. Does it make any difference that the center bar is the fan control and the 2 side bars are the temp controls for either side.

yes so did I.. I tried it and it didnt work I have a 2000 S430. Does the feature work with my year and model.

try both the driver and passenger sides. if it works on one side, you likely have a bad IR receiver.

MB replaced mine on both doors, cant remember what it cost.

yes, IIRC the door locks work via RF and the windows use IR. i had my driver side replaced before at the dealer under warranty and it included a new door handle & paint. i assume the fix would not be as cheap as one would think. are you pointing your key at the IR receiver when you try to open your windows?

i had the dealer fix my sensor on my driver said door handle to work when i first got the car.
