Has anyone had this problem with the cup holders?

Its driving me crazy I am a very picky person and can't stand it when something in my car is out of place. I was wondering if anyone had this problem where the cup holder does not close all the way. If so please tell me what the problem is and how to fix it.

its padded leather…. padded, meaning not a flush fit like wood or plastic. It has rounded edges and such, with stitching etc. Looks like a near perfect fit to me…. but it is leather and foam, and leather and foam is not perfect.

Can you force it down more and it pops back up?

This just happened today. It was fine before and yes if I force it down it goes down but pops back into that spot you see

ahhh, the pictures don't give that away. They are hard to see, but check the pins for the folding holders, or debris trapped within the holders (wadded up straw wrapper, etc).

You have debris under the cup holder. Basically trash inside. Open the cup holder and gentle pull it up. It should slide up and out from the arm rest. Once you pull it out you will see the debris. I had the same issue. I had a bottle cap and recovered $.60. Oh, might be two clamps holding it in place.
