hi, have a 01 s500S with 33K....
in noticed the outside temp. showing 119deg. when was only 102. . . . , are there known problems with this issue?

also, my horn is on monotone now.... one's broken i guess.... should be a warranty cover.....?

Things like you mentioned should be covered by warrantee. I believe it's 4/50000 plan. So, yours shouldn't expire until 2005.

mine went too, the temp said like 100 degrees but it was like 50 outside.

15$ replacement sensor, its in your left grille under the bumper, its a small sensor, once its replaced, it'll be fine.

were u driving the car when the temp showed 119?, cuz if ur in place and just started the car, the temp. is usually higher than the real thing.

you can set the lights to daylight running lights. it could be done by the controls from the steering wheel (i'm almost positive). otherwise check the manual.

reply to above Qs

hi, thanks for your responses....

we were driving the car when the temp. went erratic....

The day time running light - i followed instructions for 'constant ON' mode and it turned the xenons on but also all the parking lights around the car....
Is there a way to turn on ONLY the front halogens or xenon? like a true DRL system?

the A/C seems to be ok but it's not as cold as i'd like....

we had a leak and it was fixed and recharged....

Keep the center thumb wheel on blue and not on auto for max. cooling.

Yipe,

I've got a S350 (3700 cc, V6, 245 bhp) the 0-62mph is 7.3 which I think is same as the 430. Here's a link to my dealer's web site if you need more info:

dealer work on above problem

so far, i have a broken horn - fixed easily.

the temp. sensor had 'fallen out of where it should be'....

now, the new one is:
i told em abt noise from under the car/exhaust system rattling a bit on idel.... and they found a bad catalytic converter.... and are changing it ! what gives??? i had no indications as to that....
