Why is the w220 forum so boring?

It's because everyone here moved to the 221 or switched to the AMG's. But the 211 forum is the home of the 5.5 Kompressor.
In 07-08 it was pretty damn active here

Actually it's dead mostly becausepeople come here when they have an issue ,get help then leave
They don't stay and hang out

W220 M113K
Ive made a few DIYs and no one has really commented, 7 replies but 694 views. Ive come to not bothering anymore and I my self spend more time over in the w211 amg section because there's always something new going on over there

great Q!
I've been sitting here asking myself that verysame Q since joining here last fall - in fact - I just lobbed 'that' motzaball @ MartyMBdude last night... he had some insight on it, maybe he'd share as it sort of went over my head (something to do w/ Internet Brands).
this place is an unfortunate SNOREFEST
and the AMG forum is no better, that place is a ghost town as well
tho I'll sadly say - post a boomin stereo or blingy wheel thread and that'll get plennnnty of action 8-/
I'll also say... it's your own (collective) fault.
Seriously.
Example... I posted yesterday about installing my lowering links, even some pics. 243 views thru this a.m., with one guy w/ an EClass saying "cool" and some Charlatan "Bruse" something or other (hahahaha) chiming in... that's it.
really folks?
243 views... 2 replies... one of which is a friend of mine?
pretty pathetic
so, not trying to be a d!ck but the other 241 of ^you^ can blame yourselfs
and "I've given up and go to W211" or whatever is sooooo not the answer... c'mon guys
I'll hugely agree that the other forums I belong to are lively, fun, active. Basically the polar opposite from here unfortunately.
Sad part is I find myself lingering on Audi forums even tho I sold my car months ago... the community is tight, there's a ton of DIY'ers a ton of gamers, and we have a general good time busting on each other.
Wish some of that camaraderie would find its way here. I tried to liven it up around here and it's either crickets or complaints that the 'fun' is "too confusing".
Thanks to the handful here that do post and do try, kudos for that and please keep it up (as will I). The rest of you? Kick it up a notch wouldjya???
Guys... we... can do better. Yes? Make me proud, men...

few people mod these cars. Most people either get their cars fixed or know how to diy themselves.
What did you want to talk about? A standard s430/s500 is not much of an enthusiasts car.

a pretty sad perspective... you really just don't get it then
On the A8/S8 forum I'm on... the A8 isn't exactly "much of an enthusiasts car" either - those guys are very active.
s5benzo... Designo S600... PICS!!!!!! 8-)

Beautiful interior. I love two tones Take a look at my dad's Individual BMW..we're almost matching
It's probably not helping I'm using a BMW to continue activity, is it?

MB 2003 S600. Volvo 2003 XC70.
Most people come with issues, from this perspective, less active is a good thing;
Not too much people come here for plastic surgery either, as W220 owner has less interest on mod the car than Honda's.
I come to W220 forum daily but seldom post now. Because I fixed most of my car's issue.
By the way, I don't hate to keep the car stock.
Thanks.
Howard
