Where do you keep your sunglasses?
Every car I've had recently had an overhead sunglass holder except the s-class. What is up with that? Is there a compartment I should be aware of or must I go ... aftermarket?
Also, the burlwood on my dash is fading around the edge of the switches. Is this a "defect" or just "wear and tear?" It's really kind of ugly.

I keep mine, in the compartment under the seat. the passenger side has the First aid kit. Fading may be a defect, mine is as good as new.

If you are still under warranty....demand they replace the wood....and check all other pieces before you go into dealer. It's not normal.
Keep my sunglasses in door pocket....next to the .40 Glock!

The black object below the shift knob is a glock holster. The factory glock holster is flexible enough to hold some different gun styles. Will post some other pics later. Frees up some room for the sunglasses.

In Georgia anyone can get (and is encouraged) to have a concealed weapons permit. Concealed in GA means you can carry on your person anytime anywhere (just not at large public stadium sporting events and government buildings).
To carry in your car one needs no permit whatsoever. In GA the car is considered domicile (laws are no different from your home)...so if one trys to carjack you can treat them as if they have just kicked in your front door to your home and you are free to use deadly force. Not may carjackings here anymore!
In Kennesaw, a burb of Atlanta, they have a cool law. If you are over 18 and have a valid drivers lisc. you must carry a gun on your person at all times and especially one in your car at all times. If you are pulled over there and a current resident, and are asked to produce your weapon and you don't have it on you.......they take you to jail. BTW, no crime in Kennesaw in last 8 years since law passed.....and no, people haven't been shooting each other.....in fact everyone living there are very polite drivers!!

I just wish everybody can use a gun properly.

My CLK 500 has what looks like a sunglass compartment built into the door of the glove box, not sure if that's what its for and I'm truly surprised the flagship doesn't have one
Funny I saw a TV ad for the new Chrysler Pacifica and it has the S classes instrument cluster and my CLK 500 doesn't
