I'm not that bothered by depreciation either but it's nice when something like a car that's generally regarded as a horrible investment doesn't lose much value.

Oliverk, have you found any good fora for Bentley owners? I'm curious about doing some forum based research on a Flying Spur myself. I found a very lightly subscribed Bentley/RR forum and it seems that the only thing owners mentioned were very minor things like third brakelights and such. Although at 40,000 miles there's a service that runs to $2500 which the members made it sound like it was the worst thing ever, doesn't seem too bad to me! I guess that's what happens when you read W220 horror story threads!

Although at the $80k price point a Bentley will hold its value far better than an S Class.

The "british" forum on ferrarichat ain't bad, but not much activity.
the others I've found seem to deal with the older sleds.

Good price
I just paid $19,000 for a '06 S500 with less equipment. I think you can easily justify the price difference, especially since so many cars were just destroyed on the east coast creating a shortage of quality pre-owned.

wow guys, lot of new posts here.
classy, i think its actually eucalyptus or something, either way I like it.
The car linked above is not available any longer and had some trouble making contact with the owner.
There is one blue one with saddle down in philly. I may have a look at that one. The only thing I keep going back to is the size. It is a bit bigger than the 220, but it drives and feels a good bit bigger. Perhaps I need to spend some time in a continental GT.
With the recent storm, i haven't had a chance to clean my car up and take pics either.
I also need to send it to the dealer or an indy for a top to bottom inspection to make sure any buyers get a solid car.
