ErickTu, pics I promised you
E, about a few weeks ago you had expressed an interest in pics of my car. I recently had a few things done to the car and had not had the time until now to take some pictures with the latest changes. The quality of the pictures arent very good to be honest--did it the old fashoined way with a scanner--my digital camera is "on the blink." I know that you are trying to go to 20s--and are you staying with the LM5s--also,chrome or polished silver?

This reminds me..
I met the guy that bought the Collectizone show car S class (http://www.collectizonewheels.com/Wheels/index.html) and his car was pretty decked out. Brabus front, rear, exhaust, 20" Collectizone DD1's, and an INSANE $20k+ stereo system.. the guy had the nav ripped out, replaced with an aftermarket system molded onto the dash so it looked OEM and a crazy trunk setup. Well, it was a S430 and he had it rebadged to S500. We live in a effed up society where people are embarassed about a car worth more than $70k
I swear, I thought I left the whole honda accord DX/LX/EX badging bull***** behind. Guess not!

S500, not an S55
Shaggy, Mine is an S500, not an S55. I bought it with 4,000 miles from a dude in Miami,Fla where rebadging is apparently rampant. I am always very honest about what it is. I always have people come up to me and ask me what model it is and I ALWAYS tell them I bought it used and the previous owner switched the emblems-like it would be embarrassing to drive an S500. My girlfriend asks me all the time why dont I just say it is an S55, but I just cant bring myself to lying about it. There is nothing wrong with an S500, and like I said I wasnt the idiot who rebadged it anyway. So yeah to make a short story long -- S500

Well if you feel soooo bad about lying, why not put on S500 symbols?

I dont feel soooo bad about lying becuase I DONT lie about it. If you would read my last post you will see that I am very honest about it--like I said the car came with the emblem. And as far as taking the emblem off and replacing it it is not a big priority in my life right now to switch out a stupid emblem. Besides, I dont think I would have the coordination to put the emblems on straight. LIKE I SAID I think it is ABSOLUTELY ACENINE AND RIDICULOUS (spelling?) that the previous owner would be embarrassed to be in an S500 and feel like he had to switch the emblem to an S55. Obviously he had more time in his schedule to switch the emblem than I have right now to put the right one back on. I could care less about it to be honest and dont understand why some people on here care about it more than I do.

Ajayz, youre right-I did get a little defensive--Im sorry. I was more annoyed by the "WEAK/LOL" comment by Taurian--what the heck does that mean? All I did was honestly answer the question that was asked of me--what else am I supposed to do? I just think sometimes people take things way too seriously on here.
