Is that your car, or just your plans for it?

What I meant was if the car in the picture was yours. Is it? if so, did you use xenon '03 lights?

BTW - to answer your question, the S-Class is not mine.

Here's what was done to the CL55, a $7k CF Interior Kit:

Not really. That's what we thought at first. But after the job was done, it really looks great, and everyone agreed that it was money well spent.

And BTW - that price does not include 14 hours of installation labor, or tax.

Thumbs up 2003 Xenon Headlights

What was the cost of the 2003 Xenon headlights? Are they available as a aftermarket item or a dealer item only? Is there any additional wiring necessary?

Much thanks in advance.

No Additional Wiring if the HID ballasts are the Hella/Phillips That use the 9006 Conneter I believe its only a dealer Item check Ebay though. They have both front and back lights.

Do you currently have HID in your houseing or Halogen. ?

I have HID currently. I like the look of the clear lenses. Any idea of the cost (part & installation)? I have been checking ebay and have not seen these yet.

The connectors should transfer easily from the old assembly to the new one, 2 for each side... one set for the ballast and signal units, while the other is for the leveling controls.

However, there is one wire that needs to be reconfigured on the first set of wires mentioned to make it function properly.

The BiXenon set runs about $2,500 for a pair... original parts.

Installation labor for a DIY is about 3 hours, and make sure you purchase 2 pieces of 2.5-inch long 8mm bolts prior to starting the disassembly of the front bumper.

The S-Class is also equipped with the CF intake and ECU upgrade, and we just gutted the interior to make way for the suede headliner, pillars and backrests, 2-tone leather seats, and business package and audio-video system.

We'll show final pics when everything is done... a magazine is actually covering the progress so no pictures can be released until then.

It's a 2000 S430 that started out as a cosmetic update (lights) to look like a 2003. But that became very boring so we decided to do everything else.

Labor, painting, etc. incurred at the moment: about $4,000

Here are the list of mods already on the car so far:

Brembo GT - 15" 8-piston fronts $4,250
Brembo GT - 12.6" 4-piston rears $2,750
RENNtech Monolite 19 x 9, 19 x 10 w/ Bridgestone SO3 tires - $5,800
RENNtech ECU + CF Intake - $3,500
'03 MB Headlights - $2,500
'03 MB Tail Lights - $350
AE Suspension Lowering Kit - $1000
AE Quad Exhaust Conversion - $1,500
AE Reversing Camera on COMAND - $ 1,800
RENNtech Front Chin Spoiler - $1,300

Current work being done:

AE Full Interior Upgrade - $12,500
- Suede Headliner, Pillars
- Two-tone Leather
- Backseat Business Package (tray, electrical, etc)

RENNtech Wood Expansion Kit - $5,000
- Steering Wheel
- Door Pulls
- Ashtrays

Coming Next:

Parktronic $tbd
Illuminated Door Sills - $tbd
Entertainment System - $15,000
Full Repaint - estimated $8,000

Maybe ask why spend all that? Don't have an answer.

Could have just gotten a new S and did the interior upgrade and Rims and brakes. But its your car it will look amazing when its done. RENNtech is so expensive I never knew an interior wood kit can be 5 grand.
