Rear cig lighters are dead
I'm not getting voltage on either of the cigarette lighter outputs in the rear doors... I tried the continuity tester on my multimeter, one pin on the positive terminal on the cig.lighter and the other on the fuse, but no beep. I forgot to check for voltage at the fuse though...
Any ideas? I was planning on hooking up a dvd player for my kid, now I have to run the power from the front cig output instead until I can get this fixed.
If anyone knows of a 12V ignition switched source under the seat or in the seat I could use that would be good also...

2) If you have voltage at both fuse terminals, check for voltage between the center terminal of the lighter and a good body earth - not from center to the lighter shell at this time. No voltage means that you are losing the voltage somewhere between the fuse and the center connector of the lighter, either because of a faulty connection, a broken wire, or it is turned off. Don't forget that the fuse connector is part of this string.
3) If you have voltage between the center terminal and a body earth, then test for voltage between the center terminal and the side shell of the lighter. No voltage now means that the lighter body is not earthed.
