2003 S 500 4 MATIC , 2001 S 430 , 2003 ML 500
VALVE BODY , IS IT COVERED ?
does any one know if the valve body is covered ?I will be takeing it out tomorrow to replace the transmission conductor plate , I am just a little
worried is to weather or not I have to worry about check ***** falling out ?

I am sorry I meant to say that I replaced the bushing
I did plug the harness back into the transmission
I may have done it wrong , not sure about the shift lever either
To the rod on the valve body , is that the small metal thing that
Sticks out a bit on the bottom of the valve body ?
There was a black peice of metal looked like a lever of some sort
Is that what you are talking about ?

i did mine and had no problem, when i put the plate back on i went in easy , remember to top of the tranny fluid, the connector was a bitc5 to get back in but once i did everything was fine, there is a video on youtube for this as well.
me techman i got a question, please help. my ac doesnt work when temp outside is above 85, but it does when cooler, ive replace the blower motor and regulator and the switches, it worked great but once the outside temp got hot it stopped, is there an outside sencor involved i dont know about, the freon looks ok with a guage o got with freon can. my direct email is corkshoppe@gmail.com or my txt is 4784546601, please help.

I tried my best but it didn't work , at the end of the day my car went out of there in a flat bed , now I sent it to Mercedes because my school is a joke , they just want my car there because it makes the school look good , any ways guys thanks a lot for all of the help , i am very thank full for you and am happy to see that people are as passionate abut cars as I am

Problem solved
I had the car towed to Mercedes and they just called they said the job I had done was 99% right thanks to all of your tips !
the contact plate was bent like a half an in ch and they said they straightened it out and the cur is running and shifting fine now
