limp mode fix is easy if you can change a light buld, you have to replace the conductor plate and connector plate on the transmission, thers lost of post on here how to do it, 140 for parts and some fliud. about hour. i did it.

When it happened to me, the air would turn on and everything. You can hear it but it wouldn' tblow... my friend works on mercedes and he told me it's cause in my case, the water came into the cabin through the front of the car. When the little piece gets clogged, water isn't able to drain and it gets into the cabin. That's why my ac isn't blowing because the unit that controls it is under the glove compartment. How did you get water into yours again?

Thats exactly what happened to me.... idk about insurence overthere in the uk but here in florida they are crap... thank god I havea crazy mother that put them in their place and they agreed to pay for the whole thing. About your heated seats, I dont know. Mine has them in both seats . I'd advise you to start a new thread specifically for that. This forum is really good, there's always someone that knows or someone that has been thorugh what you've been. So give it a shot.
