Ggetting wet
Please could you help on a few issues on my car
My car heaters aren't blowing any air and as its getting ng cold really need to sort this, before giving it in I thought I'd post here.
I have noticed water in passenger footwell so opened bonnet and opened the grill on passenger side and drained water out. I have not noticed any more water around passenger footwell.
My car once started runs good and then into limp mode but runs fine - dosent go above 2,000 revs.
2 days ago car won't start unless I try 30 or so times
I really need some advice and likely issue with it
Thank you all and look forward to your replies
Do you have comprehensive coverage on your auto insurance ? That should cover water damage
Rather than going through a long diatribe, try this:

I know that when I got my first W220, I could not make out the fuse chart identifying the lighting circuit on an electronic fuse. After more searching, it became evident that this electronic fuse was the main motherboard of the fuse boxes, and you have at least 3 in your vehicle. They are officially called SAM's, but having the front air plenum (the plastic box directly below the air vents between your hood and windshield) drain plug up with debris will force water to fill the plenum and spill into the cabin of the car. Once it overflows in the passenger side, it will flow under the rug to the back seat area and could effectively fry that SAM and other collateral damage. Better read and hope cause it can become expensive quickly.
Tusabes has called it right....
Pull up your front and rear carpets
Take out the electronics and use a hair dryer to dry everything out
Only after everything is dry will you be able to tell what Damage is permanent
Stop starting the car , you are shorting everything out and causing damage

Liability coverage is only to fix the other persons car when you hit someone else and to pay for their injuries
Comprehensive coverage is for things like fire theft and water damage
Collision coverage is to fix your own car if you hit someone
You can have one , two or all three coverages , you need to look at your insurance bill or ask your insurer if you have comprehensive coverage
Thanks again
Different issue but i'll be glad to get some opinions. I have a 2002 S 500 and wanted to know when I buy a Bumper for 2003 S 500 if it will fit my vehicle. The bumper I want is made from fiber glass and it can be molded to fit. I want to get a second opinion from you guys and tell me what you think
. If you know anyone that made this switch that will be awesome to get feedback. Thanks in advance guys and I look forward to your answers
By the way this is my first day as a member!

The hood and bumper of the 2000-2002 and 2003-2006 are different.
Your question is not related to flooding so start a different thread when you have an unrelated topic to discuss in the future
There's a video how to change it here

Try it and see if it solves your starting issue
Be sure your drains are clear so no more water leaks into your passenger compartment !!
Only problem before this one is that it goes on limp mode sometimes especially after 10 minutes of driving or so. Anyone k ow what this could be
I'm going to start a new thread maybe today regards to 2 other issues.
Limp mode and the heater blowers aren't working!!!
