Hi,

a few weeks ago someone posted these pictures of the S-Class SV12 Biturbo.






It's the car of a man who lives a few streets away from me. Its in the north of Germany...

And now comes the sad story. Someone stole it...It was found in the south of France. There the thief/thieves tried to escape from the police who chased them. A police man was killed during this pursuit.
Then the Brabus made a crash, catched fire and burned out completly. No chance to repair it...

I don't know exactly how many SV12 Brabus produced, but it weren't many

Of course the death of the police men is even more sad...

The owner shouldve gotten a Level II armor. It prolly could withstand the fire.
First time seeing pics of the car...and DAMN, what a waste...the theives shouldve had it more carefully planned. That car looks awesome!

Sad incident for the officer.

theres no way the cops can catch up with the SV 12, unless they are driving a 911TT

Yes I think they are custom made. He gets the demonstration car. I think he is the only one with an SV12 in Germany...

Damn that car is/was beautiful.
But someone enlighten me plz, I always thought you cannot steal a benz unless you have the key from somewhere. Is there a way around the infra-red key system?

So he bought an another SV12. Whaouh, that's something. Do you know if it was the one that you could see on the brabus website. It was sold in the new car section.

That really suck for the officer's family and the owner (somewhat). They must have had a hard time out running the police on a straight away.

i'm surprised that the thieves actually got into the car and drove it away. they must've just taken the key somehow? i would think its really hard to steal benz's

True... You have to hotwire the thing if you do not have the key, and hotwiring a newer Benz is alomst impossible.

Something doesn't sound good about this?

I just asked the neighbor how they got the key. He told me that they hijacked the owner in France while he was there for business or something. They took his keys while he was near or in his car and drove away...

So they threatend him and he gave them the keys...
