Chinese New Year Gift: S-Class BiXenon Projectors

I took my car to MB of San Diego and got my Starmarked 2002 S500 upgraded to the 2004 S-Class BiXenon Projectors.

Awesome difference in looks.

My car had xenons originally. I was lurking on this board for a while now trying to get info, and was afraid that I will lose some functionality on the lights based on what I have been reading.

In talking to MBSD, they said that everything works after the upgrade. Lo and behold, everything works including the leveling motors that move the lights up and down to align.

I also got the LED version of the new tailights and all I can say is WOW!

Talk to Duane Du in parts, he'll hook you up!

I just wanted to share that with everyone... it is possible.

I am not sure what the difference is. Maybe they are the same.

My final bill was close to $3,400. The dealer charged me $2,350 for the front lights and $350 for the tail lights. Install for everything I believe was $300 which includes new plugs for the conversion.

The only odd thing was that the dealer did not actually do the work; there was a shop that according to the parts department, does all their headlamp, and navigation installs for them. The dealer apparently stands behind their work. Maybe if you can go directly, you can save a little more. I will try to find out where and which shop that is.

Southern California shop

I recently converted my lights and the updated look looks much better IMO. If you are looking for a shop to do the conversion, see Wayne @ A-One Auto Body in Huntington Beach, Southern California. He does a good professional job. 714 848-3001
