The 4matic has a different front suspension lower wishbone, wheel carrier and suspension strut. Don't know about the upper wishbone.

S-series 2003 S500 4matic
I think you are going to have to go with the 4matic parts. The front suspension of the 4matic is completely different than its RWD counterpart, also including the air shocks. About 2k for left and right upper and lower control arms (discounted parts only- not labor). Converting a vehicle from AWD to RWD is usually a very complex project, I am sure on the W220 it is extremely complex.
