2002 S500 Front Center Cup Holders..
Hi guys,
anyone know any manual way of triggering the cup holders in the center console to close ?
they were closing on their own, now they won't.
Maybe a couple of points on the mechanism to press or something ?

You close the cup holder by lowering the lid in the console. I suspect I might have misunderstood your question.

it won't close.. it is stuck.. that is why i wondered if there is a couple of points in the mechanism to press on to get it to close.

See this post on the other forum and pull the cup holder out to see why it is not closing.

it use to close.. but it stopped doing it.
if i use too much pressure, things will break.

Have you taken the holder out of the recess to inspect it? Did I see on the other forum a spring underneath the holder? That spring is probably the culprit.
