Mine don't use ABC but I need to it should be running still right?

Door soft close fix.
I haven't see this fix anywhere so I thought I would post my experience.
I got this 04 S430 3 yrs ago and I didn't know anything about soft close until I ran into the info in this forum.
After pulling 20A fuse, rear passenger doors would stay working but front driver and front passenger door would only worked a few times.
I pulled the pump in the trunk but couldn't find anything wrong with it. I keep pulling 20A fuse once a while and finally got tired of pulling the fuse.
Last month, I gave some white lithium grease to the unit and both front doors have been working since then. Not sure how long this will last but I thought I would share. There are video on pulling the panels and it's very easy. I applied the grease without pulling the door actuator. See included pic with white lithium grease.
Anyone out there tried this method?

The joy of owning a 2nd hand.
My stupidity is going to show with this post.
Anyway, my S600 is much noisier than my S430. I thought it was just V12 vs V8 but I was under the car last night and found both mufflers were gone. They got deleted.
With that mod and previous coil pack issues, I think the car might got ECU tuned. Is there a way to find out what it got?

I suggest taking the car to a drag track on test and tune night. Your et and mph will give you a pretty good idea if it's been tuned or not. Also, it's fun to mess with the modern muscle cars.

My OBDII is the Cread@r VII+ and I don't see WOT. What's else can I check?
Thanks in advance for the education.

I drained the transmission fluid overnight and got 1gallon and 1quart. The fluid had chocolate color and metal dust were found at the bottom of the pan.
I filled it up with 5liter bottle and the measuring stick read 0 at 25C. That was strange I thought as my math showed 5liter>1.25gallon.
I went to the S430 and it reads full. Went back to the S600 and it still register zero. I picked up two 1liter bottle but haven't dump it in yet.
Is it possible for the fluid to be this low? I verified that there is no leaking after the gasket and pan bolt replacement.
Is my transmission toasted?

My automatic open/close trunk is still not working as I can't locate the signal wire yet. Is the a schematic to show the common signal wire?
The hydraulic pump is working if I applied a voltage to it. The double relay have been verified to be working with swapped parts. Nothing happen when pushing the lighted red trunk close button. Trunk would open but would not raise.

Hi, I hooked up an OBDII and the closest thing I saw is the intake manifold absolute pressure. It start at 27inHg (0.9bar) and stable at 9inHg (0.3bar).
Pressure sensor upstream of throttle valve 0.92bar.
Pressure sensor downstream of throttle valve 0.29bar.
Pressure sensor downstream of air cleaner (both left and right) 0.92bar.
Ambient pressure 0.93bar

A 5 quart drain sounds normal, which leaves about 3 quarts in the torque converter, so your level was ABOUT right to begin with. If you now see it low on the dipstick tool, I would add another litre. Just be careful how you go. Mercedes are emphatic about how important it is to keep everything inside the transmission scrupulously clean. This is a bit ironic, considering how mucky it usually is. Metal dust is normal, small metal chunks are not.
What transmission fluid are you using?
Nick
Edit - my bad, I must have been talking English quarts. Not a measure I ever use under any circumstances.

5qt is 4.73liter. And I dumped 5 liter so it should register something when the car sit horizontally right?

My problem with front passenger soft close is this broken plunger holder. Looks like the car will need to park until the part get in.
I was able to remove it without drilled out the rivets.

I got WISEPC to work finally. Bought the bootleg disks from eBay and it wouldn't read 2 out of 9 files. Oracle 4.3.26 from seller disk also would not opened up. Contacted seller but wasn't able to get any support.
Sender sent mediafire link but 36Gb is taking a while to download. Here is the link to WISEPC 2015 if anyone run into the same disk read issue: https://www.mediafire.com/folder/q0a...c/Mercedes2015
I decided to get Oracle 5.0.22 and got it to operate. From there, I imported 36Gb data files and woala it works.
Looks like I don't need EPCnet anymore.
