S class leaking

Hey everyone
I'm newbie here and if I post in the wrong thread sorry for that.
I have a 2001 W220 S320. Today I noticed some leaks under the car. I think its just water. I took some photos and can you please tell me what's the problem and from where comes.

Thank you in advance!

If it's a looks like water, smells like water, and feels like water, it's water. The A/C system will drip condensate from the car, and can run down and drip in unexpected places. I've even heard it drip and sizzle on the exhaust from time to time.

Did it rain recently?

The undertrays tend to store water.

Today i haven't driven the car at all. I only parked the car to the other place and in the evening i parked to the same place. I haven't used the A/C for 4-5 days. Do you think that this is a normal process?

No. I don't know from where it comes. It's just dripping sometimes especially when the engine is running.

Most people don't realize the compressor keeps running even when you are not using the A/C. There's a dedicated button that needs to be pressed to turn it off, unless you turn off climate control completely. My cars will drip condensate in the dead of winter. I would check your cowl drain, though, and make sure that it's not retaining water and only letting a little bit get by as it sits. As I said, if it looks, smells, and feels like water, it's water. Nothing but A/C can have that in your car. As Nick suggested, water retention is the only other way you could get it.

+1 on the cowl drain. Just pour a cup of water in it and it should run out on the floor. If not, it is clogged and you need to clear it out post haste. Otherwise you could be looking at a very expensive repair bill if you happen to get caught in a heavy rain or run your car through a car wash.
