the poster on benzsport.com says it costs $670,000.....no f'ing way. they sell these things in japan and after currency conversion they run around $200 grand (+/-). maybe in Thailand they cost $670 grand due to the ridiculous taxes they put on german cars.

Just to inform you guys that high taxes are not only in thailand, but also in malaysia and singapore.
My family and I have a few cars back in malaysia-
Slk230 = price of s600 over here?
A6 2.4 != 70k usd?
Lexus LX470= 100+k usd?
SL320= Above 120k when we bought it..
and a few other cars. Thats why we always tell Americans,
ENJOY THE CARS!

Im am originally from Israel, and my oldest brother who is now 30 lives there. He bought a 2002 Audi A6 2.5 TDI there for around 70,000 USD or roughly 270,000 shekels (divide that by 4). I believe the tax there is about 150%. I here taxes in Denmark and Germany are also pretty high up.

uncle is into imoprt and exporting mercedes to middle east average ml 320 goes for 60 gz reason the dont have ml 320 in middle east they have ml 200
big market for s500 reason is s500 becomes a limited model since there are no s500 there but they do have s1000
so sleep on it y the cars cost so much there

Erm, S1000? They don't even have that on the World Wide MB site. There is no such thing, you're probably mistaking it for an S320 or something.

The S63 is an AMG version of the S600. It is an AMG Special and you cannot buy them in North America.
