the new bmw 745 is hideous. the s-class still stand victorious. my friends fater just bought 1, i told her it was nice but man that **** is so ugly!! the only thing i like about it is the way 2 start the car and the key thats the only +. gotta keep it gangsta w the s500 the only way man

 

The S-class is a beautiful car. The 7 series, at first may look ugly, but it is different, and does not look to bad. It is a nice BMW it think, the reoson people think it is ugly i think is because it is just different. In the pictures i did not like it that much but when i saw it in realy life, i thought it was pretty nice looking. But yea, ofcoarse the S-class is better looking

I agree with you all but just wait till the Li comes out. It's gonna look much different (it's half a foot longer in the back!). I dunno, I saw a prototype of the new ACS and Hamann kits for the new 7 (coming out soon)...it's looks really nice. But I admit to you all...S all the way.

Driving wise though, I think the 7 is much more fun (as with most BMW). Luxury...MB beats it in every catagory.

Just my opinon though...I don't wanna start any fuss.

 

I saw a new 7 series on the street last week, stared at it for 5 minutes, front and back, but I have yet to convince myself that it is a good looking car. "Too different" to a point where it's definitely on the "ugly" side. Sorry, Bimmers!

oh, btw, I have seen a few pics of the ACS 745... and they are "decent" too bad you gotta dump another 20K into a $70,000 car just to make it look decent... DEATH TO CHRIS BANGLE!

EDIT: I don't like the ACS treatment, however, the RDSport car on page 27 of March 2002 Roundell... ah crap, like ANY of you get that mag, anyway, it looks pretty good, but skill no better than an M5.

If I'm right, then you need to realize that the ONLY connotation I could have possibly implied is that I don't like it when people take nice cars and put 20-inch chromies and $40,000 stereos in them and lower then so damn far they are undrivable. I don't give a rats *** WHO is driving them! if the only people who perform this sort of automotive molestation where you live are of a certain race, I'm sorry. Where I live, it makes no difference what color you skin is or isn't, you can still rape a car.

on another note....

i sat inside the 745 last weekend and i thought the interior was pretty decent. the seats and plastics felt good but it sure was counterintuitive and way too fiddly. how many f'ing buttons do i need to adjust my seat? imagine somebody cruising through town, cellphone in one hand, and the other pressing 8 different buttons in 16 different directions to move the seat in the x-y-z-and-nth dimensions, accident waiting to happen. still, thought it was nice.
