Weird issue. Oil smoke after coil packs/plugs/VC. gaskets
The job went well, some oil got into the cylinders once I pulled the plugs because of the VC leaks, so I knew I'd get some smoke on initial start up. Well 150 miles later and two quarts of oil down tells another story and it looks like my problem is much worse than just a little oil that fell in the cylinders. I can't think of anything I did while replacing these components that would cause this amount of oil consumption, so I'm thinking it might just be a coincidence and maybe I blew a turbo seal, but before jumping to conclusions I thought I'd post up here first. Any ideas on something I could have broke "while in there" that would cause the car to eat a quart of oil every 75 miles or so?
I thought about dropping the exhaust before the merge, so I can at least narrow down the bank the consumption is coming from (if not both), but other than that I don't really have any ideas. I do have a STAR diagnostics setup, but am not sure it could be much help here.
Just as an fyi the s600 has 136k miles and is not throwing any codes. It also runs perfectly other than the smoke. Any ideas are much appreciated.

-Drop exhaust before the merge and see if one particular bank is smoking.
-If I isolate it to one bank - pulls those plugs and check for oil, although nothing is getting fouled enough to cause a misfire. If the plugs look okay, then pull the VC and check for proper drainage etc.
-If all that looks okay then I will probably pull the engine.
-If it looks like both banks are smoking then I'll re-think my plan.
