I have a stock 2003 s600 5.5 v12 and I want to install some exhaust that will make the car sound like an amg. Does anybody know of a good shop in Southern California? Does anyone have an estimate on the cost (parts, labor)?

Just today had the resonators cut off as well the crossover and had it straight piped to each muffler. Does sound nicer. $400. 2004 S600. Not obnoxiously louder but way better than the dead quiet it was before.

I got a AMG exhaust from a 2006 S65 and put them on my 2005 S600 for about $100, The exhaust cost me about $600 from eBay, brand new one cost you about $1600. You need to trim off some of your rear bumper to have a open for the quad tip ! I am also in S. California !!
After I put the AMG exhaust, the sound is NOT much louder than stock S600 exhaust, so I remove the resonator and now the sound is louder and nicer !
