Lemforder lower control arms?
Looking for a part number for Lemforder lower control arm. Hoping to save a bit of money rather than buying MB branded at almost $400 a piece. Anyone have a part #? I've been searching Google, and can't seem to find one. All I've seen are the Lemforder torque arms, but not the actual lower control arm assembly with ball joints.
This is the MB branded part: https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/mer...bly-2153300707

Worse case scenario, can I replace the ball joint itself in the lower control arm? Looking at photos, there doesn't appear to be a way to press the joint out.

No ideas on the ball joints on that strut arms. I ended up getting the whole arm for the 04 S430. Without a press, the labor on the bushing was too much for me to overcome.
As for the lower control arms, look like the part numbers for ABC system are 2153300607, 2153300707

Welp, I checked both the Lemforder and Meyle online catalogs, and they have squat in terms of lower control arms for my S65. So my only options are MB branded or el-cheapo aftermarket that'll probably only last 1 or 2 years. Guess it's MB parts then.

I remembered seeing ACDelco brand on Amazon. Had anyone tried suspension components from them for Benz? ACDelco magnetic air shocks and struts are not bad on the Escalade.

On these high end cars you really should be using the genuine MB parts for the suspension.. sure you can save a bundle on going aftermarket on many different things (I stay with MB genuine or an OE supplier on everything) but I have had bad luck with aftermarket suspension components.. from what I understand many others have too. The MB parts are designed for the best performance and ride quality that's why they don't last long, not because they are cheap.

the only difference I can think of might be related to the bigger brakes on a s65?
What i would do is buy the $127 lemfoerder parts and compare them to yours before installing . They might be the exact same and its just a matter of the aftermarket parts vendors do not know these parts also fit the s65 when they created the compatibility chart

why would the s65 suspension pieces be any different. From a s600 or s55? They are all abc suspension
