S600 oil change question
I'm planning to drive the 2003 s600 5.5 v12 up driving ramps to do the oil change. Does the car need to be level for the oil to come out? And where is the drain plug? Thanks !!

The drain plug is at the rear of the lowest part of the sump, and just in front of the subframe cross-member. Therefore if you're on ramps, the oil will run backwards towards the drain.
However, it will also run back towards the rear of the engine, and I don't think you will get all the oil out using ramps. I think it's best to keep the car level.

I'd been in your shoes. It sounds stupid but I have no idea where things are or what their functions. My advice to you is to get under the car and take a look around. At the side of the bottom oil pan you will see a shiny silver and gold plug. You can't miss it.
