2000 w220 lower and spacers

Been looking everywhere but cannot find on any forum

so my question is how exactly people are lowering their w220 with the washer method ? I kinda understand how they do it but wanna be sure to not mess up , so if somebody could show me some picture it would be really appreciated

my second question are about spacers , because this car does not have the lug going out like honda etc like on this picture so you see what I mean

how do you exactly put a spacers , and if somebody could send me a link to a good spacers that gonna fit right in it would be great

please don't talk about its bad to lower like that etc , for the washer method its just for testing before I buy a lowering links thank you

my car btw is a 2000 mercedes benz s430 w220

ps: forgot to ask another question , how do i remove the emblem on the back of the car on the trunk without breaking it , i wanna paint it

Mercedes
Don't use spacers , buy the correct size rims made for Mercedes w220 . Don't just fit some wheels made for another car to this car .

you can remove the emblems using fishing line , work it like dental floss behind the adhesive

So, your stock links attach to a ball on a bracket hanging down from your upper control arms. There's an 8mm nut that holds the bracket onto the control arm. Remove that nut & pull out the bracket. Throw 3 or 4 washers onto the bolt that goes through the control arm, put it back in the hole & tighten down the little screw as much as you can grab. You can go much lower with adjustable links but you'll have some idea & probably not be satisfied with washers.
After you lower your car, you really need to loosen your lower control arms & re-tighten them under load. Put a jack stand under the steering knuckle & lower the car so the jack stand supports the weight as if it were a tire on the ground in order to get the contol arm to be "under load". If you don't do this, you're going to burn through tires & probably cause all of your ball joints to fail much faster than they would if you left it stock.
Get the links. The washers are just going to make you mad you didn't already order links. Also, the $75 ebay links will work just as well as anything else.
Post #4 on the thread below has a couple of pictures of a washer setup.
