W220 S65: coding out secondary air injection system via DAS?
Hello to all. My W220 S65 is suffering from a frequent P0410 error code. So far, I've replaced Y32 air switchover valve, pump relay, and rigid vacuum lines going to both circular diverter valves. Without much time to work on the car, I'd like to disable the whole system in DAS at this point until I can devote more time to fixing this issue at a later date.
I was told by someone that it is indeed possible to disable the entire system, thus preventing the electric pump motor from turning on. Disabling will also prevent the CEL from popping up on the dashboard every couple hundred miles.
Can someone please clarify how this is done in DAS? I've also read/been told that this sort of coding may have to be done in developer mode. If anyone out there has done this before, grateful if you could please share the steps on how to accomplish this. I don't have DAS myself, but will be relying on someone with the system to help me in a few weeks.
Many thanks.
