2000 s500

limp mode

2000 s500 is stuck in limp mode and wont change from Winter to Sport modes...HELP!

not enough detail to help you
did you pull codes ?

most likely your 13 pin transmission electrical connector has leaked and allowed fluid to enter the TCU, start by cleaning the TCU and getting a new connector , conductor plate and filter

Pulling codes would be the first order of business. If there is any hint that the problem is with the TCU, I would try just cleaning the TCU first...

There are several threads on pulling it from the right SAM and washing it with brake cleaner or similar solvent.
