Need help on facelifting 2002 to 2005.
Hello guys...,
My dad has 2002 S320 in Asia, he wants to update the car to look like the current S-class. He got the bi-xenon and the rear taillight.
I know the grill looks different.
Therefore I need new hood too right for the new grill?
Heres what I am planning to do:
Get new hood
New Grill
AMG Front Bumper
Are those all I need for the front look? Can it be done?
TIA.

Thank you for the replies.
How about the exhaust?
I am thinking about the AMG exhaust. S320 only has single exhaust, as for AMG has double exhaust. Will it be the same as S500 getting AMG exhaust? Since S500 has double exhaust too. Thank you again.

2000 Mercedes S500
if i'm not mistaken, the new dual tip amg exhaust is only found on the S55 AMG. i'm not sure if the S500 with the sport packages come with that same exhaust. someone else can verify that.

its only on the s55 not the s500. but don’t forget the nav and the new square buttons you need to change that.
and yes it can be done even the nav and new buttons good luck.

It would be cheaper to trade
because it would suck to complete the exterior to look like a 04 but when somebody ask, "what year is the car".....what is your dad to say.
Posing an old car to a new car to me is as bad as a kit car. Plus, the interior will be a dead give away that your S-Class is a poser. The new dash, switches, COMAND and seats are different.
It's not worth it.

I don't think it will be "poser" to do the upgrades. I just thought it would make more sense financially to trade it in for an '03 plus you'll get the updated interior along with it.
