Help, s600 gone haywire

Hey guys, I'm in need of some help. My beloved s600 which I got 4 months ago is now acting up. First it started with they key not unlocking the doors. A few days later it went back to normal. Now it's lost its damn mind! The trunk button unlocks the doors now along with the unlock button. The lock button either does nothing or opens the trunk. When I try to turn on the car with the keylessgo button on the shifter it opens the trunk. If I leave the trunk open and hit the keylessgo button again it'll sometimes start the car. Today the keylessgo button does nothing and there's a message on the dash saying key not recognized. The key will start the car though. I did get a key low battery message a fee days ago. I changed the battery for my key and nothing has changed, if anything it's gotten worse. I'm super confused and in dire need of help. I should mention that last month I tried to tune my car and in the process destroyed my ecu. I have since then installed a virginized ecu that I reprogrammed with the backup file I had saved through my old ecu. I also have a autel scanner that does variant coding and although I have been playing around with the coding I doubt anything I've coded would cause this kind of problems. I'm at a lost. I'm hoping to find the answers here. Thanks in advace

Replace the main battery and report back.

So, I've changed the battery to a new one and it didn't solve a thing. I now have to keep the key in the ignition, roll down the window, lean into window, hit lock button on dash, pull out key, click roll up window, pull body out of window to lock the doors now. The lock button will still sometimes open the trunk as well as the keylessgo button on my shift knob. This issue is driving my crazy

Turns out my key is busted. I checked with a security camera for the IR signal and I'm only getting signal from unlock and trunk button. Had to order a new key from mercedes. Key cost me $630. You would think with such an opd car the keys would come down in price but nope they just get more expensive as the discontinue older model keys and for you to buy one of the newer models. Oh well, thanks for the help guys

Does your car have the IR function on the key fob? Did you ever try it?

What do you mean by it function and if I tried it? I thought all the keys had ir installed? When I pointed my key at the camera I would see blinking ir light only on the unlock and trunk release buttons but not on the lock or panic buttons. Is there a feature that turns ir on and off that I may have accidentally triggered? Please enlighten me

I have never owned nor worked on a vehicle with KeylessGo, nor an S600, and have no idea whether or not an S600 with KeylessGo has the IR lock/unlock function.

Have you pointed the key fob directly at a dark square on the front door handle from a few inches away and tried to lock/unlock the doors?

The key fob must have IR to operate the EIS, but that doesn't mean that the car has to have the IR lock/unlock function.
