Sync AC zones
Hi,
Is it possible to disable the multi-zone climate control? My car has quad-zone CC.When I removed the telephone wiring from the center console, I mistakenly dismantled one of the two plugs going to the rear CC controls. [Just checked again, the plug I broke is only for the phone. The second plug for the rear CC is to be connected to the rear TV, which I have removed. I guess that's not the reason why it's not working.] I prefer having a single zone, but there doesn't seem to be much information about syncing the AC zones for cars of this vintage.
Can it be done?
Photos of the broken plug removed.

I checked the climate control error codes. There's 1849, which is saying that the CAN communication to the rear control unit is cut.
There are two 10-pin plugs on the rear control unit, one black and one white. The black one should be ok. Originally, a cable from the TV is plugged into the white one. I think someone who was in there made a mistake, as there is another white plug that was made into a loop, presumably connected to the TV signal. I plugged that one into the rear AC control unit, but no joy. (The TV has been removed and not needed.)
Maybe at some point I'll remove the center console when I try to reclaim the storage space under the armrest (presumably from the phone or TV module?).

Good news: I fixed the rear control.
Since I reconnected the white plug that was previously connected to the TV signal, I figured that maybe a fuse was blown. Indeed, one of the 15A fuses (fuse 68) was blown. Replacing it fixed the communication to the rear control module.
