2005 S500 w220 125k miles , should i buy?
Hi,
I have In 2005 s500 being sold near where i live in Toronto, Canada. The used car dealer is very reputable in the area and has 5 star reviews on google , the car will come certified with a safety certificate but beyond this there is not much info on what maintenance has been done on the car or not. The selling price is 5.2k USD, the car is in mint condition but the 125k miles on odometer put be in doubts, should i pull the trigger and buy it?

I would start with a CarFax and look at the history, accidents, and any documented maintenance on it. A word of advice, get the vin and pull up your own copy. I had a dealer intentionally not give me the last page with an accident on it before.
If the engine has been reasonably maintained I wouldn’t be too worried about 125k on an M113. I don’t know how much of a concern rust is up there, but it may be worth looking at the undercarriage if so.
I don’t know what your level of vehicle inspection competence is, so I’ll spare you the extra long response about what I would look for.
