I was just looking on the Mercedes Benz Canada website and supposedly they have an s-class short wheel base version 430 that is about 5 -6 K less than the long wheel base version. On one of their discussion boards, they supposedly also had S320s in 2000 ( the w220 early model years), can anybody verify this information ??

i live in ontario canada...its true that there is a shorter wheel base S430 and a longer wheel base obviously the shorter wheel base version is slightly cheaper. however its not true that s320's were available in canada in the year 2000 but there is a vehicle like that as iam sure it was available in the gulf & middle east area from where i belong.

Here in Belgium you can buy all the engines, except the 280.

But I think 70% of the S-classes here, are 320 cdi's

Hey how much US dollars are the Belgium 320 Cdi's ....

I really like diesels so I was considering have one imported ...

the down side of deisels is that atleast here in Canada you can find deisel only at very very few pumps
